A windsurfing course in Sicily at Lo Stagnone is the fastest way to master the basics thanks to its unique conditions: shallow water (40-120 cm) throughout the lagoon and stable thermal winds. The lack of waves eliminates the problem of losing balance, which shortens the learning curve compared to sea conditions.

Our training courses are designed for beginners, especially the youngest windsurfers. Children aged 5-6 can participate. Through fun and engaging exercises, we teach board control and balance, as well as understanding the wind and sail operation. The 5-hour training package allows you to master skills such as board control, tacking, gybing, and speed control.

windsurfing lessons

It’s a sport you can start learning at as young as 5 or 6 years old. Our equipment is designed to fit even the smallest windsurfers (sails measuring 1 square meter). The ease of learning at Lo Stagnone allows for safe and enjoyable training, regardless of age! The course fee includes complete equipment: a windsurfing board, sail, helmet, life jacket, and wetsuit..

Couples

For couples, we offer two-person training at great prices. An instructor is at your disposal, and the pace and intensity of the classes are entirely up to you. We also offer great deals on double rooms in hotels located right on the lagoon.

Families

Our family-friendly offer allows everyone to learn at the same time. We teach windsurfing to children under 11. We offer comfortable apartments with kitchens and pool access. We offer car rentals and help with organizing excursions. Family training includes shared lesson packages at very competitive prices.

Single

Our database is always full of company. Whether you're traveling alone, there's always someone to spend time with. We offer single rooms or shared accommodations in partner resorts.

How to sign up for windsurfing training?

Booking a windsurfing course in Sicily is very simple – just visit our website. In the Windsurfing tab, you’ll find a price list and various training packages. Select the option you’re interested in and click “REGISTER.” You’ll be taken to our online store, where we’ll ask for a €60 deposit. Once your deposit has been processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email. You can always change your package; you only pay for the hours used.

The day before the course starts, we will contact you by phone to arrange the exact time of the classes.

The course price includes all equipment: a windsurfing board, sail, helmet, life jacket, and wetsuit. There’s no need to buy anything extra – we’ll provide everything on-site.

Yes, it’s possible. However, due to limited instructor availability, we can’t always guarantee same-day availability. Therefore, we recommend booking in advance—at least two days before your scheduled course. This way, you can be sure your windsurfing instructor will be ready and in perfect conditions to teach your course.

When booking, we require a €60 deposit, which can be paid online. The remaining balance can be paid online or in cash on-site after the class.
Bring your flip-flops, a towel, and a swimsuit. We provide a wetsuit and all your windsurfing gear. However, if you have your own wetsuit or harness, feel free to use them during the lesson.
If you don’t cancel your training session one day in advance or don’t show up, the session is considered completed and we deduct it from your package or deposit. We reserve equipment and instructor time for you – often requiring us to turn away other applicants.

The course fee includes a complete rig (sail, mast, boom) tailored to your strength, a stable centerboard, a life jacket, and a harness (for higher levels). We recommend bringing your own neoprene boots.
This is one of the safest spots in Europe. The shallow water means a child could land on the bottom at any moment, and the enclosed lagoon prevents swimming out to sea. The instructor always keeps the student in sight.
